Louise Mac Sweeney (Writer/Director & Co-Producer)
On completing a HDip in Film from Ballyfermot College, Writer/Director Louise Mac Sweeney first worked as an Assistant Director. Her docudrama Fuath na Fuaime, an original investigation into decreased sound tolerance or misophonia, aired on TG4 in 2011. Louise met DP Kenji Mac Eoin while 1st AD on Out There – Randal Plunkett’s short which was screened at Cannes earlier this year. Louise’s earliest film memories are of watching wars and westerns with her dad, who catalogued life with his SLR. Her mother imparted a love of language, drama and aesthetics to her. Louise’s influences are Kristina Buozyte, Ealing Studios, Hitchcock, Capra, Park and Lean. She's a qualified journalist specialising in radio and also holds a Post Grad in Directing & Editing (WIT). Louise practises Kenpo, keeps fit and loves the Irish language.

Cainneach Mac Eoin (Director of Photography & Co-Producer)
Dubliner, Cainneach 'Kenji' Mac Eoin took his first photo at three years of age when he insisted on using his father's camera. In 1988 he won his first photography award, igniting his life's passion. Two years later his family emigrated to Perth, where he completed a Diploma of Applied Science (Photography). His 20 plus year career includes press, events, portraiture and several of his own exhibitions. 2006 Stop Motion Animation Ransis and Alee marked Cainneach's transition to film. Other work includes The Catalpa Escape, The Devil's Interval, Happy Family and Out There. His cinematographic heroes are Seamus McGarvey, Janusz Kaminski, Sean Bobbitt and Michael Chapman. He is also an accomplished bodhrán player who has played with legends Junior Davey and the Chieftains. Kenji and Louise are currently collaborating on their next project.

Ken Tuohy has composed music for Shakespearean theatre productions The Tempest, A Winter’s Tale and As You Like It. His film credits include Dublin, Medieval Charm & Georgian Splendour, Ghost Tales of York and Bittersweet. Ken’s musical brief for The Brotherhood was Arlo Guthrie inspired American folk. He then composed and arranged an original score with the help of seven musicians and their harmonica, fiddles, guitar, autoharp, banjo and cellos. Ken was awarded the International Certificate in Film Scoring from Screen Training Ireland/University of California Los Angeles. He also holds a B. Mus. (Hons) from NUI Maynooth and a Masters from the University of Limerick. Ken is an experienced radio broadcaster and in his spare time, a cinephile, avid reader and a connoisseur of good food!

Adam Darby (Teenage Raghnall ‘Rags’)
The Brotherhood is 14 year old Adam Darby's first film. He plays lead character 'Rags' - protégé to biker Seán McCully (Don Mac Eoin). Adam previously experienced Rags' auxiliary ego when he played Friar Laurence - spiritual advisor to Shakespeare's tragic hero in Romeo & Juliet. Determined to be a successful actor, Adam has also attended drama classes. He practises Mixed Martial Arts and receives Kenpo training from Don Mac Eoin. The Coolock teenager also plays for his local GAA club - league toppers Parnell's. Another goal of Adam’s is to see GAA football go global. He reckons he’s getting really good at Airsoft as he’s not being killed so much these days. Although not currently in love, Adam Darby is open to the possibility of that status changing!

He plays Seán McCully in The Brotherhood - lead biker and mentor to teenager ‘Rags’ (Adam Darby). Originally interested in playing the priest, Louise convinced Don to swap the collar for an open faced helmet. Additionally he was Production Manager and Art Director on The Brotherhood. In 1978 Don joined the circus where he worked with horses, knives and performed many feats of daring. He is also an accomplished martial artist with over 46 years' Kenpo experience. Don's work as a stuntman has found him in battles, car chases, shoot outs and prison breaks.

Eamon Rohan is a veteran of theatre, film and television. He has trodden the boards in Macbeth, Philadelphia, Here I Come, Guys and Dolls, Romeo and Juliet and The Playboy of the Western World. His screen credits include Ripper Street, Father Ted, Aristocrats, The Attic, The Tudors, Ros na Rún, The Magnificent Ambersons and Evelyn to name a few. In Fair City he has had nine appearances as seven different characters and he is still not remembered! The Brotherhood is Eamon’s second collaboration with the director. He played the doctor in Louise’s Irish language docudrama Fuath na Fuaime (Hatred of sound). While waiting for the phone to ring, this occasional ‘raconteur’ enjoys crosswords, role-play, comedy-writing, striving to be the next Tiger Woods and arm-wrestling with belligerent grandchildren.

Julian Grant (Adult Raghnall ‘Rags’ L.A.)
Julian Grant moved to Venice California in 2011 with no thespian themed thoughts. One night, over vodka in a Burbank bar, a woman asked him if he'd ever thought about acting. His initial reaction was that the woman should probably stop drinking. Since then, Julian has been in over 25 films including 2013 feature Dr. Mabuse. He was also cast in Saeed Khoze's Virginity. Based on true events, relating to honour killings, female trafficking and rape, Virginity has already picked up 12 awards on the international festival circuit. Julian is a working voice over artist and he has written and co-produced a T.V. pilot with his wife Yvonne. He also plays guitar and speaks Norwegian.

Frank Gregg (Fr. Francis Mahony)
Dublin born Frank Gregg dreamt for years of becoming an actor. At 18 he joined the local Walkinstown Drama Group where he landed his first lead stage role. In 2001 he graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting. While working part-time in a cinema, Frank landed the lead role in award winning horror feature, Minus Distance (2006). During this shoot he was offered the role of Garda James Finlan on RTÉ’s Fair City. Frank has added to his screen credits with roles like John Dillinger in Mobs Cheanada and Father Francis Mahony in The Brotherhood. Actors he admires are James Stewart, James Dean and John Travolta. He is also inspired by Socrates and Aristotle. Coincidentally, Frank is a bike enthusiast and rides a Honda Shadow 600.

Dublin-based method actor Valeria Bandino was born in Cagliari, Italy. As a small child, ballet was her first creative outlet. At 18 she was spotted by an Italian agent who secured work for Valeria as a model and T.V. presenter. The glamorous tourist she plays in The Brotherhood provides an important contrast to the dearth evident in 1970s Dublin. This opposition ensures that the audience continues to cheer for ‘Rags’ (Darby). In 2011 Valeria played Linda in Terry McMahon's Charlie Casanova and was recently cast as Margareth in The Secret of Botticelli (2014). She has attended the Gaiety School of Acting, Dublin and the TVI Actors' Studios in Los Angeles. Valeria is also involved in charity programmes supporting children and some of the poorest countries in the world.
